11.2009: APEX uses technology to help protect high-risk patients against H1N1
APEX utilized their existing technology to identify and contact their patient who are highest risk of H1N1 Influenza complications that there was their APEX provider recommend they receive the vaccination and to schedule an appointment to obtain it. This was a timely and efficient means of helping protect our patients and community from an emerging health threat.
09.2009: Check-in Patient Tablets
Pick up a tablet and check yourself in! APEX now offers the convenience of saving time and the environment by filling out paperwork only one time! At future visits you will only need to review and update your information. We have found that not only is it time consuming and annoying to fill out paperwork at each visit, but important information can be incomplete when health events and life changes are not in the immediate present. To help us keep current with you health and life changes we are now using a system which allow you to complete your health history and demographics ONE TIME and subsequently only review and update as needed.

Join and Donate to Team APEX for its annual participation in Colorado AIDS Walk 2009.
AIDS Walk Colorado benefits Colorado AIDS Project and the fundraising teams of 30 other AIDS service and education organizations throughout the state of Colorado. AIDS Walk Colorado was started in 1987 as a community response to the AIDS epidemic that was ravaging the nation. Today, AIDS Walk Colorado is the largest AIDS fundraiser in the Rocky Mountains, attracting over 7000 participants a year.
Help us reach our goals in our annual participation in the Walk by either donating to Team APEX or joining Team APEX and walk with us!
06.2009: New Patient Check-In Technology
APEX is now providing cutting edge technology to patients to create a more interactive, educational and efficient check in process. We are reducing the redundancy of paperwork, improving the accuracy of our health information and providing an entertaining educational experience with our new check in process. The traditional clipboard, pen and annual paperwork will now be replaced with a computer tablet to complete your information once, each check in after the initial will be simplified by simply reviewing the information and updating only as needed.
04.2009: Patient Portal Created
APEX now has a Patient Portal where you can designate contact preferences, request an appointment, and view and pay your bill online: all available 24/7 for you to access at your convenience!
11.2008: APEX Utilizes SMS/Email Appointment Remdinders!
We are now solely using Text Message and Email as appointment reminders instead of voice messages. You can now log into our Patient Portal and configure your contact preferences. Through your email reminder message you are able to google map to our office as well as sync your appointments with Outlook or iCal.
09.2008: Electronic Medical Records Implementation
Our practice moved into the digital age and began using electronic medical records. Managing electronic health records is a safer and more efficient means of providing and coordinating health care for our patients. It is also a more environmentally friendly practice as well and we will be able to reduce our overall energy consumption and carbon footprint significantly.
